A quick preview of Ashley & Tim's beautiful wedding. I love each and every client and anticipate with excitement each day but especially this one! Awesome couple that I knew would be a lot of fun to shoot. Here's a few of the beautiful, Ashley! More to come!
With tropical storm Hermine approaching fast, I had some question marks as to how Sunday's wedding was going to go. I knew the couple wanted to hit a few local outdoor spots for portraits so I had contingency plans upon contingency plans to cover hours of the day. Waking up Sunday to find that the storm had stalled out and wasn't going to affect the wedding was VERY welcome. It turned out to be an absolutely gorgeous day!
This wasn't just great news for me and my work that day but, more importantly, this couple are two of the nicest people you could meet and deserved this day to be absolutely perfect - which it so was.
I'll be posting much more from this amazing day soon.
Had an amazing time capturing the wedding day of this fantastic couple! Congratulations Brenda & DanRead More
Shooting weddings for friends are always a highlight for me in this industry. Surrounded by friends as we together wish our friends happiness on the start of their journey together... we let it all hang out on days like this; especially as we near the end of wedding season here in NJ.
Here's a sneak peak from the day!
Side note: Thank you Fuji for making my favorite lens... the 56mm F1.2 R
It seems that every time I return from a wedding or portrait session and view the images captured I fall in love with this lens all over again... and I shoot with it a lot! Fuji, if you are listening, I'd love a 23 F1.2 and a 35 F1.2 (or faster) as well!
Fast action on the dance floor!
A moment before the ceremony from Friday's wedding. I'll post more from this beautiful day soon!
Beautiful day, fun couple, great family and a party full of dancing and happiness for Tara & Ryan. Doesn't get any better. How awesome is my job?
For those interested, the Fuji X-T1 and X-T10 were my primary cameras on the day. Both performed amazingly well. The two cameras compliment each other quite well. I also utilized the 16mm f/1.4, 35mm f/1.4, 56mm f/1.2 and 50-140mm f/2.8 lenses.
Next up, a family adventure as summer continues and more weddings!
I'm always impressed with the maturity of the young men and woman when I cover Bar and Bat Mitzvahs. The memorization and added responsibilities in the community seem to always be taken with pride and confidence.
This day featured the expected class and fun I've become accustomed to when covering these momentous days for these new young men and woman in their communities.
